This Girls Story is growing — and we’re looking for committed leaders to help shape our next chapter.

We are a working board, which means members help guide the organization while also taking hands-on action to move projects forward. Until we have staff support, board members play a key role in implementing decisions and advancing organizational priorities.

What We’re Looking For

• People who believe in amplifying girls’ voices and leadership

• Doers, not just advisors

• Individuals comfortable owning tasks and following through

• Skills in fundraising, strategic planning, marketing, finance, outreach, youth leadership, event work, or nonprofit development are especially welcome

What the Role Involves

• Serving a two-year term

• Participating in decision-making and committee work

• Taking responsibility for project-based tasks and follow-through

• Supporting fundraising efforts and organizational growth

• Representing This Girls Story in the community

Estimated time commitment: 4–5 hours per month.
