Happy Valley

My family, some of my brother's soccer teammates, and I traveled to Olympic Park! It has been used in the Winter Olympics, and it is now just a tourist destination as well as a practice place for athletes! At Olympic Park, you can go tubing, ziplining, and even bobsleighs! I chose the ziplining option since I didn’t have much time, and I had a blast! The picture below shows me on a ski lift for the first time. Since you need to ride the ski lift to get to the top of the mountain to be able to go on all the attractions.

My Family and I along with one of my brother’s best friends went on a “hike” in Antelope Island! It wasn’t really a hike since it was only 0.25 miles, but I like to pretend it is because we didn’t have time during the trip to go on a real hike (I didn’t pack the correct shoes).

This was the view from one of the points on Antelope Island. Pictures can’t describe how beautiful this specific view is. The water really reflects off the mountains and it’s so clear!

My family and I decided to go to the Booneville Salt Flats! But before we actually got to the salt flats, we stopped at The Tree of Utah or just the Tree of Life. We didn’t actually know what it was, but it was pretty cool to see something different besides the desolate Salt Flats.

Then we made it to the actual Salt Flats! We spent a grand total of twenty minutes at the flats. But I thought it was such a cool sight to see. I even ate some of the salt! If you wanted to know, it tastes exactly like you think it would.
